Rachael is a native “Chattanoogan.” She and her husband, Brandon, moved back to Chattanooga after grad school and have lived in the Northshore area since 2020. They have two kids, Louise and Mills, who attend Normal Park Elementary. Brandon is a vet and is currently working to build his own practice in Ft. Oglethorpe. Rachael attended University of Georgia for undergrad, UT in Memphis for medical school, and did her pediatric residency and neonatology fellowship in Birmingham. She is boarded in both pediatrics and neonatal/perinatal medicine. She has been practicing as a neonatologist at the Children’s Hospital at Erlanger NICU since 2020. She and Maureen met at work and instantly had a close and easygoing relationship. Rachael has always had an interest in aesthetics and is a constant cheerleader for doing whatever helps someone age gracefully and feel confident. In her off time she enjoys all things food, spending time at the lake, reading, and spending time with her family.
